Feeling confident in your body is a crucial component of overall health and well-being. This idea contains so much more for women than just working out hard and eating well; it also involves feeling secure and confident in a potentially hostile environment. What makes women's self-defense worthwhile?
Many people have misconceptions about self-defense. With a little effort, everyone can perform it, so I believe that keeping it available at the gym is crucial. In so many wonderful ways, this type of instruction can change a person's life.
TEAM SUCCESSFUL
Our safety training programs are excellent for team building in addition to teaching participants valuable life skills. Women that participate in our self-defense training come away from it with a unique bond and connection to one another. During the program, certain challenging and unsettling situations are explored, and doing so with others in a secure setting can improve staff relationships at work.
Taking charge of your safety and knowing that you can protect yourself tremendously enhances confidence and morale. It is also an inspiring and motivating practice.
What is the most effective strategy to continue training in self-defense after the course?
We encourage everyone to begin a relevant physical activity, whether it is hitting the heavy bag, attending a weekly boxing class, or thinking about taking up martial arts. A return to one of our pop-up workshops is also encouraged for anyone who needs to sharpen their abilities.
